- Personal Income month/month        +0.9%. Previous was -2.5 %

- Personal Consumption Expenditures month/month 1.4 %. Previous was +1.0%

- PCE Price Index month/month        0.2%. Previous was 0.3 %    

- PCE Price Index year/year            1.4%. Previous was 1.4 %

- Core PCE Price Index month/month          0.2%. Previous was 0.2 %

- Core PCE Price Index year/year        1.5%. Previous was 1.6 %

 

Personal Income includes unemployment and what we are seeing the in monthly data is the variation in UI income.

PCE is an inflation metric and remains well-contained.

Employment Cost Index  (3rdQ 2020)

- Quarter over Quarter 0.5%. Previous was 0.5%

- Year over Year       2.4%. Previous was  2.7%

This measure the cost of employment from the perspective of the employer.  It includes wages and benefits such as employer paid health insurance.
