- Starts - Annual Rate  1,669,000. Previous was 1,578,000

- Permits - Annual Rate  1,709,000. Previous was 1.639,000

SFR Starts were 989,000 which was +12.0% year/year.

Initial Jobless Claims (week ended 1/16/2020)

- Initial Claims seasonally adjusted 900,000. Previous was 926,000

- Initial Claims  unadjusted, totaled 960,668  a decrease of 151,303 (or -13.6 percent) from the previous week

- 4-Week Moving Average seasonally adjusted 848,000. Previous was  824,500.

Total receiving regular state UI increased by 385,996 

Total receiving Pandemic UI decreased by  1,735,491 

Total receiving Emergency Pandemic UI decreased by 1,139,309 

Total receiving any UI decreased by 2,412,508
