- Initial Claims seasonally adjusted 214,000. Previous was 226,000

- Initial Claims, unadjusted, totaled  78,369 in the week ending October 15 a decrease of 9,285 (or 10.1 percent) from the previous week. 

- 4-Week Moving Average seasonally adjusted  212,250. Previous was  206,500
